Inspecteur / Inspectrice des sinistres RC & Choses (h/f/x)

Job description

Tasks

• Executing assignments in your assigned geographical sector, mainly in the West Lausanne region
• Conducting interviews with the relevant parties (customers, insured persons, authorities, etc.) as well as clarification and investigation on site
• Complete processing of liability and property insurance claims in accordance with guidelines and instructions within the scope of your competencies
• Negotiating settlements and amicable solutions with lawyers, insured parties, injured parties, other insurers, etc.
• Organization of technical expertise and cooperation with other inspectors and experts (internal or external)
• Technical support and participation in the training of internal service providers and agency staff
• Building and maintaining relationships with companies in your geographical area of responsibility

Requirements

• Apprenticeship as a businessman or equivalent qualification, supplementary training and/or specialist in insurance (an important advantage)
• Experience as a claims inspector would be ideal, alternatively confirmed professional experience in complex claims processing for liability/property insurance companies
• Mastery of common computer tools (MS Office)
• Perfect command of spoken and written French
• Communicative and social personality, entrepreneurial spirit and negotiating skills
