Job description

Tasks

• Carry out assignments in your assigned geographical sector, mainly in the Riviera/Chablais region
• Conducting discussions with the parties concerned (customers, insured parties, injured parties, authorities, etc.) and clarifying and investigating on site
• Complete processing of insurance dossiers for property and liability, in accordance with the guidelines and instructions within the scope of your competencies
• Negotiating settlements and amicable solutions with lawyers, insured parties, injured parties, other insurers, etc.
• Organization of technical expertise and cooperation with other inspectors and experts (internal or external)
• Technical support and participation in the further training of internal service employees and agency employees
• Building and maintaining relationships with companies in your geographical area of responsibility

Requirements

• Apprenticeship as a businessman or equivalent, supplementary training and/or specialist in insurance (an important advantage)
• Experience as a claims inspector would be ideal, alternatively confirmed professional experience in managing complex liability/property claims
• Mastery of common computer tools (MS Office)
• Perfect command of spoken and written French
