Taurus is seeking an Institutional Sales Associate to build and maintain client relationships and support the company’s global growth. The ideal candidate has sales experience, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of blockchain technology and digital assets.
Tasks
We are looking for a highly motivated Institutional Sales Associate to join our team. In this client-focused role, you will play a key role in presenting our product portfolio and fostering long-term client relationships. You will build and maintain relationships with external teams to ensure a seamless, high-quality client experience and contribute to the continued growth of our business. Key responsibilities include:- Prospecting & Lead Qualification: Conducting targeted research to identify high-potential prospects in the buy-side (institutions, corporations, blockchain foundations, hedge funds, family offices) and sell-side (high-net-worth investors) segments.
- Drafting outbound inquiries via email, phone calls, and social media channels to qualify leads and present the company’s value proposition to the Swiss market.
- Sales Presentations & Pipeline Management: Responsible for all phases of the sales cycle, including preparing follow-up presentations, proposals, and customer-focused materials.
- Scheduling and coordinating client meetings, managing follow-ups, and ensuring clear, timely communication throughout the entire sales pipeline process.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s diverse product portfolio (e.g., custody, tokenization, trading, financing, staking, derivatives).
- Communicating complex concepts related to crypto and digital assets in a clear and compelling manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- CRM Accuracy & Reporting: Maintain complete, timely, and accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline stages using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Support reporting and forecasting with reliable data entry and pipeline updates.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintaining existing customer relationships, responding to inquiries, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling or upselling.
- Collaborate with senior team members to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Market intelligence: Stay up to date on trends in the crypto industry, market dynamics, competitors, and regulatory developments.
- Sharing valuable market insights with the product, marketing, and leadership teams to influence strategy and product development.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partnering with product, marketing, legal, and operations teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
- Supporting the implementation of go-to-market initiatives and customer onboarding processes.
- Process improvement: Identifying inefficiencies in the sales process and proposing solutions to improve workflows and efficiency, as well as to enhance the overall customer journey.
Requirements
- A degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
