Institutional Sales Associate
Taurus is seeking an Institutional Sales Associate to handle the distribution of digital assets and maintain customer relationships. The ideal candidate should have experience in sales or a customer-facing role and possess a strong knowledge of blockchain technology and digital assets.
Tasks
We are seeking a highly motivated Institutional Sales Associate to join our team. In this customer-focused role, you will play a key part in presenting our product portfolio and nurturing long-term customer relationships. You will cultivate a seamless, high-quality customer experience and contribute to the further growth of our business. Key activities include:- Prospecting & Lead Qualification: Conducting targeted research to identify high-potential prospects in the buy-side (institutions, corporations, blockchain foundations, hedge funds, family offices) and sell-side (high-quality investors) segments.
- Sales Presentation & Pipeline Management: Responsibility for all phases of the sales cycle, including preparation of follow-up presentations, proposals, and customer-focused materials.
- Product knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the diverse product portfolio (e.g., custody, tokenization, trading, financing, staking, derivatives).
- CRM accuracy & reporting: Maintain complete, timely, and accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline stages using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Customer relationship management: Fostering existing customer relationships, responding to inquiries, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling or up-selling.
- Market intelligence: Stay up to date on trends in the crypto industry, market dynamics, competitors, and regulatory developments.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, legal, and operations teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
- Process improvement: Identification of inefficiencies in the sales process and proposal of solutions to improve workflows and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, ideally in the financial services sector, fintech, or the broader digital asset ecosystem.
- A deep understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and the broader digital asset ecosystem.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify and articulate complex technical concepts.
- Proven ability to manage multiple prospects, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high attention to detail.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for tracking pipeline activities and customer interactions.
- Proven ability to conduct research, identify opportunities, and initiate effective outreach.
- High level of professionalism, responsiveness, and customer-oriented approach.
- Fluent English; fluent German or French is an advantage.
