Institutional Technology Sales Director - Southern Europe
Taurus is seeking an Institutional Technology Sales Director for the Southern European market, who will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in financial technology sales and a strong affinity for digital assets and financial markets.
Tasks
- Proactively reach out to potential customers and close deals to increase sales in Southern Europe
- Manage the existing customer base to ensure high satisfaction and renewal rates among existing customers
- Develop a business plan, achieve sales targets, and manage all sales interactions and pipelines through Taurus CRM, including:
- Sourcing and coordinating RFIs/RFPs with potential clients and the internal Taurus team
- Updating and maintaining Taurus sales materials used for presentations, meetings, and sales calls
- Preparing, managing, and tracking sales meetings and demonstrations
- Negotiating new customer contracts and upselling
- Internal coordination with product teams and partners, including distributors, and feedback on product gaps
- Represent Taurus at third-party events and conferences and generate leads; assist in establishing partnerships with organizations in the sector (consultants, technology providers, etc.); and monitor the competitive landscape
- Manage sales, marketing, PR, and external communications and contribute to these areas
- At least 10 years of professional experience in the sales of institutional financial technologies and/or at a fast-growing fintech startup (preferred)
- Strong interest in proactive commercial engagement, business development, and technology development in line with rapid market trends
- Interest in digital assets, cryptocurrencies, and/or the digitization of financial markets
- Fluent in English, Italian, and/or Spanish
- Travel within Europe required
