Institutional Technology Sales Director - Southern Europe

The Institutional Technology Sales Director - South Europe is responsible for the company's growth in Southern Europe and is tasked with acquiring new customers and maintaining existing customer relationships. The job holder develops a business plan, achieves sales targets, and represents the company at events and conferences.

Job description

Tasks

  • Proactively acquire and implement new business to grow in Southern Europe
  • Manage existing customer base to ensure high satisfaction and renewal rates
  • Develop a business plan, achieve sales targets, and manage all sales interactions and pipelines through Taurus CRM, including:
  • Sourcing and coordinating RFI/RFPs with interested parties and the internal Taurus team
  • Update and maintain Taurus sales materials used for presentations, meetings, and pitches
  • Prepare, manage, and follow up on sales meetings and demonstrations
  • Negotiating new customer contracts and upselling
  • Internal coordination with product teams and partners, including sales handover and product gap feedback
  • Represent Taurus at third-party events and conferences and generate leads, establish partnerships with institutions in the field, and monitor the competitive market.
  • Support and contribute to marketing, PR, and external communications

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of professional experience in the sale of institutional financial technology and/or a fast-growing FinTech startup
  • Strong interest in proactive commercial interaction, building a business, and developing technology in line with rapid market developments
  • Interest in digital assets, cryptocurrencies, and/or the digitization of financial markets
  • Fluent in English, Italian, and/or Spanish
  • Travel within Europe required
