Internal - Global Markets
The internship position in the Global Markets division in Hong Kong involves supporting trading teams and automating processes. The ideal candidate has a strong academic background in computer science, finance, or economics, as well as programming experience with Python or R.
Job Description
The main tasks include:- Supporting the Structured Products, Equities Trading Desks, and Treasury teams in Hong Kong with manual and ad hoc tasks
- Assisting with the implementation of projects related to the Global Markets and Treasury businesses (e.g., the OMS project)
- Assistance with optimizing manual processes and workflows, as well as automating tasks where possible
Requirements
The requirements are:- Degree in computer science, finance, or economics with a strong academic background from top universities
- Programming experience is required (Python and/or R), as well as the ability to work with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in English is required
- Knowledge of Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a small team
