Job description
Internal Communications Specialist 100% (m/f/d)Tasks
- 1. development and implementation of strategic internal communication measures
- Work with GPS leadership, business management and strategy teams to understand changing business needs and create aligned communication plans
- Development and implementation of multi-channel campaigns to support key initiatives, transformations and organizational updates
- Customization of messages for different target groups in different regions and functions to ensure relevance, clarity and consistency
- Representation of GPS perspectives in company-wide communication measures in cooperation with the central Internal Communications team
- 2. provision of communication support at management level
- Acts as a trusted communication partner for the GPS Co-Heads and other senior stakeholders, including drafting speeches, presentations, talking points and leadership updates
- Advice on tone, style and channel selection to maximize reach and impact
- Contribute to the management of the Co-Heads' professional presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, including content ideation and editorial monitoring (in line with brand and compliance guidelines)
- 3. strengthening stakeholder participation throughout the company
- Serves as a bridge between GPS and other departments within Bank Julius Baer to promote mutual understanding and integration
- Facilitates two-way communication through feedback mechanisms, pulse checks and active listening to reflect employee sentiment in communication strategies
- Ensure that GPS voices are represented in cross-functional forums, committees and company-wide initiatives
- 5. application of target group insights and continuous improvement
- Use segmentation, behavioral insights and best practices for change communication to increase message effectiveness
- Monitoring engagement metrics and qualitative feedback to refine approaches and demonstrate impact
- Information on internal communication trends, tools and innovations in the area of employee experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communication sciences, public relations, journalism, organizational psychology or a related field (a postgraduate degree is an advantage)
- At least 3-5 years of experience in internal, corporate or organizational communications, ideally in the banking, financial services or consulting sector
- High level of emotional intelligence, discretion and sensitivity in navigating controversial issues
