International Payroll Associate
The position as International Payroll Associate at Man Group in London involves responsibility for performing international payroll accounting in 15 different regions. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in international payroll accounting and good knowledge of Excel, as well as experience with payroll accounting systems.
Job Profile Summary
As a key member of the payroll team at an FTSE 250 company, the main purpose of this role is to process international salaries from start to finish. Reporting to the International Payroll Specialist, this is a great opportunity for a financial services company. The payroll team processes salaries in 15 different regions.Responsibilities
- Coordination with the International Payroll Specialist with a primary focus on the complete processing of multi-state US salaries (bi-monthly), Belgium and Switzerland/Liechtenstein salaries every month, preparation of input records, consolidation of entries, collaboration with international teams to ensure that all changes/updates/new hires/departures are accurately reflected in the payroll databases. Headcount and payroll-related queries such as US PRC threshold 1005 (Australia/China/Denmark/Netherlands/Hong Kong/Ireland/Czechia/Zambia/Spain and Switzerland). Supporting various teams within Man Group, including payroll, production and distribution of financial data, files, distribution of payroll on a weekly and monthly basis. Corresponding with finance and control teams and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements when filing tax returns with HMRC, finance and tax teams, and liaising to obtain information from various teams. - Assisted with year-end reporting and filing for international payroll, including CDR reports for finance and tax teams, and ensured compliance with regulatory requirements when filing tax returns with HMRC. - Handled employee inquiries via phone, email, Slack, and Service Now. - Assisting with updating and creating process notes and optimizing processes within the payroll function.Key Skills & Experience
- The position is ideal for candidates with the right attitude who have 2-3 years of relevant payroll experience in international payroll (payroll experience in a similar environment and complexity is ideal). - Proficiency in Excel (e.g., lookup and pivot, along with working knowledge of at least one of the following: payroll system (e.g., ADP Workforce Now or similar), HMRC and SDS (pension/wage/social security contributions), and Experian/LIM). - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team; this may occasionally require late working hours. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent time management skills.Inclusion, work-life balance, and benefits
