Job Description

As a Client Advisor at J.P. Morgan in Geneva, you would lead new client acquisition and retention efforts by leveraging your comprehensive knowledge of investments, banking, trust services, and financial planning. You would also be responsible for the client experience and utilize our resources to deliver a comprehensive wealth management solution. You would build and maintain relationships with clients by establishing trust, thoroughly understanding their needs, offering targeted advice, developing thoughtful solutions, and delivering an exceptional client experience. Tasks

  • Generate business results and acquire new assets
  • Advise clients on their overall financial situation, including asset allocation, investment management, financial planning, and credit and banking needs
  • Collaborate with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise to clients when necessary
  • Understand clients’ goals and objectives in order to develop and implement an investment plan for their entire balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, portfolio construction, and tactical asset allocation, as well as wealth planning and credit and banking needs
  • Ensure that proposed solutions meet the needs and goals of clients in the short, medium, and long term through a holistic, goal-oriented planning approach
  • Strictly comply with all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures.
  • Work together with other client advisors on the team to maximize the team’s strength and achieve the team’s goal

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in private banking with high-net-worth individuals in Zurich and the surrounding area, including family-run businesses and entrepreneurs, executives, single-family offices, and foundations
  • Previous experience in business development, including knowledge of profiling, negotiation, and proactively seeking referrals
  • Dynamic and credible professional who communicates with clarity and possesses exceptional presentation skills
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and takes a disciplined and organized approach to his business
  • Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, banking, and fiduciary concepts, including but not limited to: asset allocation, structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and credit solutions, basic fiduciary and estate planning products, and the identification of wealth planning opportunities
  • Strong reputation with an established network
  • Speak English and German fluently

Preferential qualifications

  • Asset allocation / multi-asset class portfolio experience or sales experience is advantageous
