Job Description

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and diverse team within J.P. Morgan's Swiss private banking business. We are looking for exceptionally talented individuals who are collaborative, confident, and motivated to deliver a first-class experience to our clients.

Tasks

As a Client Advisor at J.P. Morgan in Zurich, you would lead new client acquisition and retention through comprehensive knowledge of investments, banking, fiduciary services, and financial planning. You would also be responsible for the client experience and leverage our resources to deliver a comprehensive wealth management solution. Key responsibilities include:
  • Generate results and acquire new assets
  • Advise clients on their overall balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, credit, and banking needs.
  • Partner with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise to clients when necessary
  • Understand client goals and objectives, and develop and implement an investment plan for their entire portfolio
  • Ensure that proposed solutions meet customer needs and objectives in the short, medium, and long term.
  • Strictly adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures.
  • Collaborate with other client advisors on the team to maximize the team’s strength and achieve its goals

Requirements

The required qualifications, skills, and characteristics include:
  • Significant experience in private banking with high-net-worth individuals in Zurich and the surrounding regions
  • Previous banking experience with expertise in customer profiling, negotiation, and proactive referral generation
  • Dynamic and credible professional with clear communication and outstanding presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and disciplined approach
  • Experience or proven understanding of investments, banking, and fiduciary concepts
  • Strong reputation with an established network
  • Fluent English and German

Preferred qualifications

The preferred qualifications, skills, and qualities include:
  • Asset allocation or sales experience across multiple asset classes
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is an advantage
  • Ability to thrive in an internal culture that values innovation, customer service, internal partnership, and entrepreneurship
  • Fluent French and/or Italian
