JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President to serve as a private banker for its international private bank in Geneva, Switzerland, to manage ultra-high-net-worth clients from the Middle East and acquire new business. The ideal candidate has experience in the private banking industry, excellent communication skills, and a strong network.

Job Description

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and diverse team within J.P. Morgan’s MENAT private banking business. We are looking for exceptionally talented individuals who are collaborative, confident, and motivated to deliver a first-class experience to our clients.

Tasks

As a private banker at J.P. Morgan on the MENAT Client Team, you would lead new client acquisition and retention efforts by leveraging your extensive knowledge of investments, banking, trust, and financial planning services. You would also be responsible for the client experience and utilize our resources to deliver a comprehensive wealth management solution.

Responsibilities

- Generate business results and acquire new assets from clients with ties to the Middle East - Advise clients on their entire balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, and credit and banking services - Collaborate with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise to clients as needed - Understand client goals and objectives to develop and implement an investment plan for their entire balance sheet - Strictly adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures - Collaborate with other client advisors on the team to maximize team strength and achieve team goals

Requirements

- Experience in the private banking sector working with ultra-high-net-worth individuals from the Middle East - Previous experience in business development with expertise in client profiling, negotiation, and proactive recommendation - Dynamic and credible professional with clear communication and exceptional presentation skills - Strong organizational skills and a disciplined approach - Experience or demonstrable understanding of investments, banking, and fiduciary concepts - Good reputation with an established network

Preferential requirements

  • Fluent Arabic
  • Asset allocation / Experience with multi-asset class portfolios or sales experience
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is an advantage
  • Ability to thrive in an internal culture that values innovation, customer service, internal partnership, and entrepreneurship
