International Private Bank, Private Banker, MENAT, Vice President

JPMorganChase is seeking a Vice President as a Private Banker for the MENAT region in Geneva, Switzerland, who will build and manage experienced client relationships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in private banking, particularly with clients from the Middle East, and possess excellent communication and sales skills.

Job Description

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and diverse team within J.P. Morgan's MENAT private banking business. We are looking for exceptionally talented individuals who are collaborative, confident, and motivated to deliver a first-class experience to our clients.

Tasks

As a private banker with J.P. Morgan on the MENAT client team, you would lead new client acquisition and retention through comprehensive knowledge of investments, banking, fiduciary services, and financial planning. You would also be responsible for the client experience and would leverage our resources to deliver a comprehensive wealth management solution.

Responsibilities

  • Generate business results and attract new customers with connections to the Middle East
  • Advise clients on their entire balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, credit, and banking
  • Collaborate with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise to clients when necessary
  • Understand client goals and objectives in order to develop and implement investment plans for their entire balance sheet
  • Ensure that proposed solutions meet customer needs and objectives in the short, medium, and long term.
  • Strictly adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures.
  • Collaborate with other customer advisors in the team to maximize team strength and achieve team goals

Requirements

  • Significant experience in the private banking industry with ultra-high-net-worth individuals from the Middle East
  • Previous experience in business development with knowledge of customer profiling, negotiation, and proactively requesting referrals
  • Dynamic and credible professional with clear communication and exceptional presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and a disciplined and organized approach to business
  • Experience or proven understanding of investments, banking, and fiduciary concepts
  • Strong reputation with an established network

Preferred qualifications

  • Fluent Arabic
  • Asset allocation/multi-asset class portfolio or sales experience is advantageous
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in an internal culture that values innovation, customer service, internal partnership, and entrepreneurship
