International Private Bank, Private Banker, MENAT, Vice President

JPMorganChase is seeking a Vice President as a Private Banker for its international private bank in Geneva, Switzerland, to serve and advise ultra-high-net-worth clients from the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have experience in the private banking industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and implement complex financial solutions.

Job Summary

As a private banker in J.P. Morgan's MENAT team, you will attract and retain new clients through your comprehensive knowledge of investments, banking, fiduciary services, and financial planning. You will also be responsible for the client experience and will leverage our resources to deliver a comprehensive wealth management solution.

Job Responsibilities

The tasks include:
  • Achieving business results and acquiring new assets from clients with connections to the Middle East
  • Advising clients on their overall financial status, including asset allocation, investment management, estate planning, credit, and banking
  • Collaborate with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise to customers when necessary
  • Understanding clients' goals and objectives and developing and implementing an investment plan for their overall financial situation
  • Ensuring that the proposed solutions fully meet the needs and objectives of customers
  • Strict compliance with all risk and control guidelines, regulatory guidelines, and security measures
  • Collaborate with other customer advisors in the team to maximize team strength and achieve team goals

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

The requirements include:
  • Extensive experience in private banking with high net worth individuals from the Middle East
  • Previous experience in business development with knowledge of customer profiling, negotiation, and proactive recommendation
  • Dynamic and credible personality with clear communication and exceptional presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and disciplined approach
  • Experience with investment, banking, and fiduciary concepts, including asset allocation, structured products, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, and the fundamentals of fiduciary and estate products
  • Strong reputation with an established network

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Preferred qualifications include:
  • Fluent Arabic skills
  • Experience with asset allocation or distribution of multi-asset class portfolios
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is an advantage
  • Ability to thrive in a culture that values innovation, customer service, internal partnership, and entrepreneurship
