International Private Bank, Private Banker, Mexico, Executive Director
As a private banker at JPMorganChase in Geneva, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients and servicing existing clients from Mexico, providing comprehensive advice on investments, banking, fiduciary services, and financial planning. You should have experience working with high-net-worth individuals from Mexico and possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
Tasks
As a Private Banker, Mexico, Executive Director within the International Private Bank, you will drive new client acquisition and retention through your comprehensive knowledge of investments, banking, fiduciary services, and financial planning. You will also be responsible for the client experience and will engage our resources to deliver a comprehensive wealth management solution. Responsibilities include:- Generate results and acquire new assets, both from the existing customer base and through new Mexican customer acquisition.
- Advise clients on their overall balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, estate planning, credit, and banking needs
- Partner with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise to clients when necessary
- Understand client goals and objectives in order to develop and implement plans for their overall balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, portfolio construction and tactical asset allocation shifts, estate planning, credit and banking needs
- Ensure that proposed solutions meet customer needs and objectives in the short, medium, and long term through a holistic, goal-oriented planning approach.
- Comply with all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures
- Collaborate with other customer advisors in the team to maximize team strength and achieve the team goal.
Requirements
Required qualifications, skills, and characteristics:- Significant experience in private banking with ultra-high-net-worth individuals from Mexico
- Previous business development experience targeting Mexican customers, with knowledge of profiling, negotiation, and proactively requesting referrals
- Dynamic and credible professional who communicates with clarity and possesses exceptional presentation skills
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and applies a disciplined and organized approach to his business
- Experience with investment products, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and credit solutions, basic trust and estate products, and identifying wealth planning opportunities
- Strong reputation with an established network in Mexico
- Fluent in Spanish and English
Preferred qualifications
Preferred qualifications, skills, and characteristics:- Asset allocation / Experience with multi-asset class portfolios or sales experience is advantageous
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is a plus
