Job Summary

As a banker in J.P. Morgan’s private banking division, you will lead efforts to attract and retain new clients by leveraging your comprehensive knowledge of investment products, investment advice, and financial planning. This role is also responsible for the client experience and for coordinating our resources to deliver a comprehensive wealth management solution.

Job responsibilities

  • Acquire and market to new customers in Turkey
  • Take responsibility for the sale and implementation of investment, banking, and trust/estate planning products for key clients
  • Work with investment advisors, capital advisors, trust and estate advisors, and wealth management advisors to provide interdisciplinary expertise for our most complex clients
  • Manage each account to ensure that the client has a complete profile and that accounts are properly maintained and managed, with particular attention to J.P. Morgan’s risk management guidelines
  • Building Trust with Customers and Effectively Managing Relationships
  • Ensure that the proposed products and services best meet the customer’s needs, goals, and objectives

Requirements

  • Significant experience in private banking with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Previous experience in business development
  • Performance-oriented, focused on exceeding business goals with a keen eye for detail
  • Proven sales success, including: acquiring new customers, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiating, team-based sales approach, closing sales, and requesting referrals
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong relationship management and team-building skills; views team-based approaches as critical to the process
  • Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, banking, and trust concepts, including but not limited to: asset allocation across structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and credit solutions, basic trust and estate planning products, and the identification of wealth planning opportunities
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment, including regulatory and technological developments
  • Fluency in Turkish and English is required
