Investment Advisor
The Investment Advisor supports clients in developing individual investment strategies and advises them on the selection of structured products. The focus is on working with relationship managers and regional management to align client needs with the bank's offerings.
Job description: Investment Advisor
Your tasks
- Structured Product activity:
- Supporting the Structured Products team by providing accurate and timely pricing information to the front office
- Participation in the management of the entire product life cycle, including daily monitoring, repayment notifications, secondary market opportunities, and roll or exchange proposals
- Contribution to the development and promotion of the structured product range through idea generation, market information, and collaboration with research teams
- Ensuring smooth execution of all phases of the process—from pricing and RFPs to post-trading activities (e.g., confirmations, valuation, booking, instrument construction), invoicing, and profit and loss reconciliation.
- Promotion of structured products as an asset class internally through training of relationship managers and support in the use of pricing tools
- Establishing and maintaining close relationships with counterparties, monitoring onboarding processes including KYC and contractual documentation
- Investment Advisory:
- Providing personal investment advice within the client risk profile framework, whether in terms of tactical asset allocation or a bottom-up approach
- Acts as a partner to the regional manager in developing advisory ideas and integrating them into client portfolios, gathering the needs of bankers, and creating proposals to meet the needs of our relationship managers and clients.
- Contribution to the generation of investment ideas using various in-house specialists in all asset classes: equities, fixed income securities, foreign exchange/metals, derivatives, private markets, etc.
- Contribute to the feedback loop with our research team to generate investment ideas that meet client needs.
- Ability to promote the firm's views, present recommended investment solutions, and coach relationship managers in solving complex investment challenges
Requirements
Education
- Master's degree in finance or equivalent
Professional experience
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role with very good knowledge of structured products
