Investment Advisor, based in Geneva, Full-time (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking an Investment Advisor in Geneva to manage a client portfolio and provide comprehensive investment advice as a trusted advisor. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience in investment advisory and a client-focused approach.
Tasks
Develop and manage a portfolio of clients within an investment advisory mandate. Act as a trusted investment advisor by providing comprehensive advice on all major asset classes and securities and executing transactions.Strategic Tasks
- Proactive integration of Julius Baer’s investment strategy and comprehensive investment platform into client portfolios and recommendations for foundations
- Development and presentation of customized investment proposals, including comprehensive portfolio analysis, that align with clients’ financial goals, risk profiles, and long-term objectives
- Regular updates on global market trends, investment themes, product innovations, and relevant regulatory changes affecting cross-border asset management
Customer Engagement and Presentation Excellence
- Play a key role in engaging clients and prospects by designing and delivering high-quality, insightful presentations that include market commentary, thematic insights, and targeted opportunity assessments tailored to individual client profiles
- Collaborating with relationship managers to develop customized investment strategies that reflect each client’s financial goals, risk profile, and cultural background
- Co-lead client meetings and consulting sessions to ensure the consistent delivery of premium consulting services
Trade Execution and Transaction Responsibility
- End-to-end processing of trading transactions, including initiation, validation, and post-trade confirmation
- Strict compliance with internal governance standards and regulatory obligations (including FIDLEG and MiFID II suitability assessments)
Requirements
- 5–10 years of minimum professional experience in investment advisory, private banking, or a similar financial services sector
- A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality services
- Fluency in English and French is required; knowledge of other languages is highly desirable
- Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive, self-motivated, and able to act independently
