Investment Advisor

The Julius Baer Group is seeking an Investment Advisor for its Dublin office to provide client advice and support and offer tailored investment advice. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in investment advisory and financial markets.

Job description

We are looking for an Investment Advisor to join our team at our Dublin office. The Investment Advisor will be responsible for developing investment opportunities and providing after-sales support to discretionary and advisory clients.

Your tasks

  • Act as a representative and ambassador for Julius Baer and IWMS both internally and externally
  • Work with technical specialists within the bank to prepare and deliver investment proposals
  • As an independent and full-service representative for client solutions, including cross-selling activities (advisory and discretionary mandates, wealth and tax planning, etc.)
  • Ensure consistent customer service and a unified message on investment topics
  • Ensure that the sales and maintenance of Core-Satellite-selected solutions are carried out
  • Business Development: Prospectus Pitches for Discretionary and Advisory Solutions
  • Managing your own client portfolio by monitoring and analyzing portfolios
  • Providing proactive, high-quality, tailored, and regulatory-compliant investment advice to discerning and active private clients
  • Support for RMs on market- and investment product-related matters
  • Supporting RMs in customer interactions, both with prospective and existing customers
  • Sales and after-sales support for standard DM solutions
  • Support for internal and external events
  • Leading sales and desk meetings by providing market updates, sharing Julius Baer’s views on products, and delivering customized content and presentations upon request
  • Presentations at internal and external events

Your profile

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Familiarity with multi-asset investing and institutional investment strategies
  • Demonstrable interest in and understanding of financial markets and the major asset classes
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of UCITS, MiFID II, or SPDR regulatory requirements is a plus
