Investment Advisor

Job description

We are looking for an Investment Advisor to join our growing team at our Dublin office. The Investment Advisor will be responsible for developing investment proposals and providing after-sales support to discretionary and advisory clients.

Tasks

The main responsibilities of the investment advisor include:

• Representing and promoting Julius Baer and IWMS both internally and externally
• Collaboration with technical specialists within the bank in the preparation and presentation of investment proposals
• Independent and comprehensive support for customer solutions, including cross-selling activities
• Ensuring client service and a consistent message on investment-related topics
• Ensuring the sale and maintenance of core-satellite solutions
• Business Development: Prospectus Presentations for Discretionary and Advisory Solutions
• Managing your own client portfolio by monitoring and analyzing portfolios
• Providing proactive, high-quality, and customized investment advice to private clients
• Supporting relationship managers in matters related to the market and investment products
• Supporting relationship managers in customer interactions
• Support for sales and after-sales activities for standard DM solutions
• Support for internal and external events

Requirements

The requirements for this position include:

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience
• Familiarity with multi-asset investing and institutional investment strategies
• Demonstrable interest in and understanding of financial markets and the major asset classes
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of UCITS, MiFID II, or SFDR regulatory requirements is a plus
