Investment Advisor; NRI (M/F)
Indosuez Wealth Management is seeking an experienced Investment Advisor (m/f/d) in Singapore to provide advice to UHNW clients and family offices. The position involves developing multi-asset strategies, portfolio management, and working closely with relationship managers.
Job Summary
- Reporting to the Head of Investment Solutions in Singapore, you will be responsible for providing investment advisory services to clients based on their risk appetite and investment objectives.
- You will support clients from family offices and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) private banking and provide investment recommendations in line with market conditions and the clients’ mandates in the areas of discretionary and non-discretionary advised portfolio allocation.
- Regularly develop new investment concepts and monitor, update, and modify the investment strategy.
- You will work closely with the RM, RM, and Client Relationship Officer teams.
- The role involves both advisory and marketing responsibilities. These responsibilities will be discussed with clients and relationship managers at the beginning of the engagement, based on each client’s mandate.
- You will help manage the investment products (primarily AIFs) of our markets and institutions clients in accordance with the clients’ guidelines, with the support of:
- Asset Management
- CA Indosuez (Switzerland) SA – Head Office and Branch Office in Hong Kong – Private Bank
Key Responsibilities
- Provides proactive investment advice on multi-asset-class portfolios directly to clients based on their needs
- Monitors client portfolios on a regular basis by performing regular portfolio rebalancing and performance reviews
- Develops new investment concepts and monitors, updates, and modifies investment strategies
- Proactively contacts clients with meaningful portfolio updates and provides local investment insights
- Partners with RMs to engage in Asset Under Management (AUM) and Markets transactions
- Responding to Client Investment Orders in a Timely Manner
- Collaboration with other RMs on campaigns
- Have a solid understanding of all asset classes to provide comprehensive solutions to our multi-asset-class clients
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements
- Maintain the necessary knowledge to ensure that the advisor is fully qualified to perform all key mandated tasks
- Maintain close and regular contact with CIPS/IMA/IMAB to coordinate activities and ensure any necessary follow-up regarding regulatory compliance
- Continuing education and training in professional and technical fields
Key Requirements
- Relevant degree in accounting/bookkeeping and finance from a leading business school or university
- At least 10–15 years of work experience and 10 years of relevant experience as an investment advisor
- Prior experience serving NRI and India-linked client segments, as well as South Asian client segments, in portfolio management
- A strong understanding of portfolio construction, asset allocation, and multi-asset-class investment experience, along with the ability to recommend suitable solutions
- Additional certifications, such as CACS and CFA, are preferred
- In-depth understanding of and compliance with credit, risk, and banking regulations
- Autonomous but able to collaborate as a member of a team
Candidate Criteria
- Minimum education level: Bachelor's degree / B.S. degree or equivalent
- Academic Qualifications / Specialization: Minimum degree in a relevant field from a leading business school or university
- Minimum experience required: 11 years or more
- Languages: Hindi (Fluent)
