Investment Advisor

Job description

We are looking for an Investment Advisor for our Advisory team in the Wealth Solutions Unit Group at our Lugano location.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Providing personalized, high-quality investment advice to private clients on all asset classes and across various financial markets;
• Continuous monitoring of portfolios under advisory services, with proactive proposals for new investment ideas to clients;
• Active and consistent presence in markets and distribution channels;
• Operational support and consulting for the Private Banking team;
• Preparation of daily reports on developments in the financial markets;
• Execution of all types of orders on behalf of clients;
• Contribution to the continuous development of the IT investment platform.

Required knowledge

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the financial sector, with a focus on investment consulting;
• Possession of CFA certification is a preferred qualification;
• Excellent knowledge of Swiss society;
• Proven and excellent knowledge of the main asset classes;
• Strong expertise in analyzing technical balance sheets;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as presentation skills, in Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages (Spanish, French, or German) is preferred;
• Strong motivation, aptitude for teamwork, strong organizational skills, and a sense of responsibility in managing multiple activities;
• Flexibility, proactivity, open-mindedness, and a strong focus on quality and service;
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office and key financial tools (e.g., Bloomberg);
• Residence in the Canton of Ticino (or willingness to relocate).
