Job description: Investment Advisor

Tasks

• Creation of scalable investment content across various asset classes (switch and investment ideas) for the entire customer base
• Preparing for and participating in meetings with potential clients and positioning Vontobel's value proposition independently of services (including both advisory and discretionary solutions)
• Continuous monitoring of market developments and innovation of new investment solutions
• Management and growth of a book of direct advisory clients
• Continuous monitoring of advisory portfolios (risk budget, performance, asset allocation), provision of frequent proactive investment ideas for clients
• Contribution to the continuous development of the investment offering
• Contribution to strategic projects within the department

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in wealth management with a focus on holistic investment advice
• Very good knowledge of macroeconomics and investment strategy; experience in portfolio management is a plus.
• Proven excellent knowledge of all asset classes, including equities, bonds, and alternatives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English; additional languages are a significant advantage
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to speak in front of a large audience
• Highly motivated team player with strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and a willingness to take on responsibility for multiple tasks
• Flexible, proactive, open-minded character with a strong drive for excellence
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and financial tools (Bloomberg)
