Investment Associate, Global Infrastructure Solutions - GIP
BlackRock is seeking an Investment Associate for its Global Infrastructure Solutions division in New York to assist with infrastructure investments, portfolio management, and the development of financial models. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in infrastructure and/or private equity investments and a strong academic background.
Tasks
- Deal Underwriting & Execution: Assisting with the evaluation and execution of infrastructure investments, including sourcing, market research, and the development of complex financial models and analyses; Coordination of commercial, legal, and tax workflows; collaboration with deal teams; and presentation of investment recommendations to investment committee members and clients - Portfolio Monitoring & Management: Monitoring and managing investments, maintaining GIP relationships; preparing materials to support performance review meetingsRequirements
- Relevant experience: 2+ years of experience in infrastructure and/or private equity investments in investment banking, private equity, real estate, and/or investment banking roles
- Education: Bachelor's degree with a strong academic background
- Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Familiar with AI tools
- Investment Skills: Proven quantitative skills and experience in building financial models; Strong understanding of private equity, leveraged finance, project finance, and/or infrastructure
- Infrastructure expertise: Knowledge and experience with infrastructure subsectors; familiarity with the infrastructure private equity manager
