Nomura is seeking an investment banker as an associate in the Digital Infrastructure division in London who has experience in investment banking and ideally in the digital infrastructure or telecoms sector. The successful candidate should have excellent analytical skills, financial modeling skills, and the ability to work independently and proactively.

Job Title: Investment Banker, Digital Infrastructure, Associate

Responsibilities and department

The Investment Banking Division offers a wide range of advisory and capital raising solutions to companies, financial institutions, governments, and public organizations worldwide. Global teamwork focuses on geographic, product, and industry specialists with an emphasis on domestic, regional, and cross-border collaboration in M&A, DCM, acquisition financing, and solutions businesses.

Requirements

The following requirements are necessary:
  • Experience in investment banking/corporate finance/M&A
  • Experience in digital infrastructure or telecoms and an understanding of industry trends and/or experience in handling deals is an advantage.
  • Ability to interact confidently with other banking professionals and customers
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent experience in financial modeling (operating models, merger models, LBO, etc.)
  • Experience working in a project-based environment with tight deadlines
  • Proactivity, resourcefulness, intellectual curiosity, and enthusiasm
  • Outstanding academic achievements
