- Typical work involves a mix of client service and execution, including: valuation, financial analysis, strategic analysis, due diligence, deal finance and litigation management
- Coordination and cooperation with all other product, geo and sector teams is required;
- Opportunity to work on a variety of transaction types including financial advisory, self-M&A, buy-side M&A, capital raising, leveraged buyouts and structured and asset solutions.
Focus of the Nordic Coverage Team:
- Originating and executing transactions across a broad range of Investment Banking Division products (including M&A, Acquisition Finance, Equity Advisory, DCM and Solutions Businesses) and sectors in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland;
- Advise and collaborate with sector and product teams on all relevant aspects of transaction execution, such as market dynamics, modeling and valuation, financial modeling, structuring, etc;
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key regional customers and enabling relationship building and cross-border investment flows.
Requirements:
- A proven background in M&A / Corporate Finance with experience in an investment banking or advisory boutique environment;
- Significant experience in sell-side and buy-side M&A and debt/equity financings;
- Teamwork: Experience working in a project-based, international environment with tight deadlines and as part of a wider team;
- Project management capability to deliver teams to meet customer needs;
- Excellent financial modeling skills, including the ability to perform analysis;
- Strong communication skills: Ability to interact confidently with banking professionals and clients;
- Distinctive academic performance: consistently in the top 10% of the peer group;
- Fluent in either Swedish (preferred), Danish or Norwegian and English.
