Alantra is looking for an investment banking analyst for its real estate division in Madrid to develop complex financial models and support transactions. The position requires 2-3 years of experience in investment banking or a related field, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Investment Banking Analyst - Real Estate (Madrid)

Location and working hours

  • Location: Madrid, Spain
  • Working hours: Full-time

Salary

€ 42,420

Tasks

  • Development and maintenance of complex financial models, including DCF, LBO, and trade/transaction comparison analyses.
  • Preparation and analysis of financial statements, valuation ratios and key industry trends.
  • Leading the preparation of client presentations, investment memoranda and marketing materials.
  • Support in the execution of ongoing transactions, including process management, due diligence, negotiations and deal structuring.
  • Assisting in the creation and development of new business opportunities by conducting market and business research.
  • Work with senior bankers and clients to provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
  • Coordination with external stakeholders such as lawyers, accountants and consultants.

Requirements

Qualifications and education

  • Strong academic background with a degree in engineering, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • CFA designation is a plus.

Language skills

  • Fluent in English and Spanish, additional languages such as Portuguese or Italian are highly appreciated.

Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, private equity, corporate development or management consulting with strong exposure to financial analysis.

Soft skills

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas concisely.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
