Investment Banking Associate - Real Assets Debt Advisory ALANTRA

Tasks

  • Advise corporate and sponsor-backed clients on debt financing strategies, including acquisition financing, refinancing, and restructuring.
  • Support the structuring and execution of debt transactions through banking and capital market products.
  • Developing and analyzing financial models, capital structures, and credit metrics to identify appropriate financing solutions.
  • Preparing client materials, including pitch books, financing proposals, and credit presentations.
  • Coordinate with internal product teams, including leveraged finance, DCM, and structured finance, to deliver integrated financing solutions.
  • Manage lender processes, including syndication, due diligence, and documentation.
  • Monitoring market conditions and providing clients with insights into debt markets and financing trends.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with corporations, private equity sponsors, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong technical background in debt financing and the ability to take on greater responsibility for transaction workstreams.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in execution, and the ability to effectively coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of credit analysis, capital structures, and debt markets.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to build models from scratch.
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial judgment and trust when working with clients, sponsors, and financing counterparties.
  • A degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, CFA, or equivalent are preferred.
