Investment Banking Auditor

Your role

Are you a sharp risk assessor who enjoys analyzing complex business processes and products? Do you want to play a key role in improving the effectiveness of business-critical processes to help safeguard and strengthen UBS? We are looking for an Investment Banking Auditor who:

• Plans, conducts, and oversees audits; performs safety and risk assessments as well as internal quality checks to ensure the expected level of safety within the assigned time and budget constraints
• highlights where controls are working well or where UBS needs to take action to better manage current and emerging risks, and appropriately escalates all significant concerns
• meets our internal standards for the quality, execution, and documentation of the work, taking into account the requirements for the coverage of legal entities where necessary
• where applicable, prepare development and audit reports in accordance with our internal reporting and documentation standards, which are fully supported by the work performed and require only minimal feedback from reviewers
• works effectively with colleagues within and across audit teams

Your expertise

• Five or more years of experience in a high-volume global trading business (including electronic and algorithmic trading) in products such as stocks, ETFs, and foreign exchange
• able to quickly grasp complex processes
• Ability to communicate effectively with others
• Familiarity with investment banking
• strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Willingness to engage with the industry
• Master's degree or equivalent
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
