Investment Banking Auditor

Your role

Are you a sharp risk assessor who analyzes complex business processes and products? Would you like to play a key role in improving the effectiveness of business-critical processes to protect and strengthen UBS? We are looking for an Investment Banking Auditor who: * plans, conducts, and leads audits, performs security and risk assessments as well as internal quality controls, and works effectively to ensure the expected level of assurance within the assigned time and budget constraints * identifies where controls are working well or where UBS needs to take action to better manage current and emerging risks, and appropriately escalates all material concerns * meets our internal standards for quality, execution, and documentation of work, taking into account expectations regarding coverage of legal entities where required * Develops issues and audit reports as needed in accordance with our internal reporting and issue resolution standards, which are fully supported by the work performed and require minimal feedback from reviewers * Collaborates successfully with colleagues within and across audit teams

Your expertise

* Five or more years of experience in auditing * Ability to quickly understand complex, high-volume global trading transactions (including electronic and algorithmic trading) in products such as equities, ETFs, and foreign exchange * Ability to communicate effectively * Familiarity with investment banking * Strong analytical and quantitative skills * Willingness to engage with the industry * Master’s degree or equivalent * Fluent in English, German, and one other language
