Zürcher Kantonalbank is looking for an experienced Investment Director (m/f/d) to join its Private Equity team in Zurich to invest and support innovative LifeTech companies in Switzerland and Europe. The new employee will be actively involved in the management and execution of transactions and support the portfolio companies in creating value.

Investment Director "LifeTech" Private Equity / Venture Capital (m/f/d)Tasks
- Screening: Identifying and attracting high-potential technology companies that align with our investment strategy. Networking with founders, co-investors, advisors, etc. and representing the investment team at conferences
- Supporting portfolio companies to maximize value creation, including board participation
- Supporting portfolio management in portfolio construction, risk and liquidity management
Requirements
- Master's degree and/or doctorate in natural sciences, medicine or medical technology
- Additional training in corporate finance, business administration or management, such as an MBA
- 15+ years of relevant experience, including at least 10 years of investment experience in venture capital or corporate venture investments in HealthTech with a proven track record of success
- Extensive experience in boards, value creation and successful exits
- Strong network in healthcare and technology in Switzerland and preferably also in Europe
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to combine strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and with exceptional analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- High degree of flexibility, ability to work in a team and overcome multiple challenges
- Fluent in English and good communication skills in German
