The position offers operational responsibility for monitoring and controlling activities within LGT Investment Management GmbH, in particular in the administration of funds, as well as maintaining an effective internal control system. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in finance, economics or law and several years of professional experience in a regulated financial institution.
Job description
Tasks
- Operational responsibility for the continuous monitoring and control of activities within LGT Investment Management GmbH, in particular in the management of funds (UCITS)
- Responsibility for maintaining an effective internal control system (ICS), including the monitoring of excluded domiciles and the evaluation of controls
- Independent and proactive handling of the day-to-day business of an investment company, in particular support in the maintenance of reporting and documentation systems
Requirements
- University degree in finance, economics, law or an equivalent qualification; a postgraduate degree (CFA, CAIA, FRM, EMBA/MBA) is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience (5+ years) in a regulated financial institution, in operations, financial markets, compliance or portfolio management (e.g. trading and investment back office, accounting, risk management, fund and asset management)
- Proactive cooperation with internal and external stakeholders and active participation in the further development of processes and standards within LGT Investment Management GmbH
