Tasks

• As the Investment Manager, you will be an integral part of the investment team, actively involved in the entire investment process from screening to exit.
• Your primary responsibilities will include trend scouting, deal sourcing, and conducting due diligence for growth investment opportunities in the technology sector.
• You will leverage your industry expertise, network, and analytical skills to drive investment activities.
• Director, coordinating with legal, finance and other VU teams.
• Managing Portfolio Companies: Provide strategic guidance and operational support to portfolio companies in order to maximize value creation.
• Take on board observer roles where necessary.
• Support the investment team with representative and administrative duties, including event and conference representation, deal-flow database management, LP reporting, etc.

Requirements

• Master's degree from a technical university, such as ETH or EPFL
• Additional corporate finance, business or management education, such as MBA
• Minimum of 5 years of direct investment experience at a venture capital firm or corporate investment arm, with an established network in the European venture capital ecosystem
• Entrepreneurial spirit; prior founder or work experience in one of the target sectors (ICT & Digitalization, Industrial Tech & Robotics) is a strong plus
• Digital native with exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills
• Independent and self-motivated: thrive in an autonomous work environment, showcasing quick adaptability and a self-starter mentality.
• Fluency in English and good communication skills in German
