Investment Manager Private Equity / Venture Capital (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Trend scouting, deal sourcing and due diligence for growth investment opportunities in the technology sector
• Leveraging industry experience, network and analytical capabilities to drive investment decisions and provide operational support to portfolio companies
• Coordination with Director, Legal, Finance and other business units
• Management of portfolio companies: Provide strategic advice and operational support to maximize value creation; assume observer roles as needed
• Support the investment team with representative and administrative tasks, including event and conference representation, deal flow database management, LP reporting, etc.

Requirements

• Master's degree from a technical university, such as ETH or EPFL
• Additional training in corporate finance, business administration or management, such as an MBA
• At least 5 years of direct investment experience with a venture capital firm or corporate investment arm, with an established network in the European venture capital ecosystem
• Entrepreneurial spirit: Experience as a founder or work experience in one of the target sectors (ICT & digitalization, industrial technology & robotics) is a strong plus
• Digital native speaker with exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills
• Independent and self-motivated: Successful in an autonomous work environment, with quick adaptability and a self-starter mentality
• Fluent in English and good communication skills in German
