Investment / Portfolio Management Analyst
Morgan Stanley is seeking a Senior Portfolio Analyst to monitor and manage investment portfolios, including preparing reports and coordinating with internal teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, as well as at least four years of experience in asset management.
Tasks
- Monitoring of consistent, related acquisitions and prices
- Provision of Monitoring Reports
- Collaboration with a leading investment team and analyst ratings
- Coordination, compilation of security research, and support for the preparation of analysis reports on investment banks
- Use of the latest updates in day-to-day portfolio management, including rebalancing, account valuations, and transfers, as well as tax wizards for end-of-day reporting (trading statement)
- Collaborate with internal teams, including investment banking, middle office, and compliance, on behalf of the investment team
- Coordination of Performance Evaluation and Reporting
- Monitoring and Day-to-Day Management of Existing Investments and Systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or accounting
- More than 4 years of experience in portfolio management, research, and knowledge generation within the business unit
- At least 4 years of experience, including 3 years in asset management in the United States
- Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
- Proficiency in Excel, the MS Office Suite, and Bloomberg software applications
- Strong and focused organizational skills

- Excellent communication skills
We offer
- Expected base salary range: $61,000.00 - $95,000.00
- Compensation packages also include benefits and discretionary bonuses
