The Investment Products Specialist supports the development, deployment, and lifecycle management of investment products for high-net-worth and institutional clients. This role combines product expertise, market analysis, and internal collaboration to ensure innovative, compliant, and client-focused investment offerings.

key tasks

The main tasks include:
  • Product Development and Support: Support for the development and enhancement of investment products such as structured bonds, mutual funds, and customized solutions.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Conducting market and competitive analyses to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Preparation of business plans, product documentation, and regulatory filings.

Portfolio and Risk Management

The tasks include:
  • Collaborating with internal and external portfolio managers to support investment decisions.
  • Monitoring asset allocation and supporting adjustments in accordance with clients’ investment policies.
  • The first line of defense in risk management to ensure operational and regulatory compliance.

Collaboration with Stakeholders

The tasks include:
  • Work closely with legal, compliance, risk, operations, and finance teams to support product delivery.
  • Collaborate with relationship managers and client advisors to gather feedback and refine proposals.
  • Representing the investment product function in governance forums and strategic planning meetings.

Compliance and Documentation

The tasks include:
  • Ensuring compliance with BSNAML, AML, and banking secrecy regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and supporting audits and compliance reviews.

Qualifications

The requirements include:
  • Degree in finance, economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the investment industry, preferably in product development or portfolio support.
  • A strong understanding of capital markets, investment vehicles, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Advanced interpersonal and influence management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English; Portuguese and/or Spanish preferred.
