Description

The Investment Products Specialist supports the design, development, and lifecycle management of investment solutions tailored to high-net-worth and institutional clients. This role combines product expertise, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the delivery of innovative, compliant, and client-centric investment offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Support

  • Lead the evaluation, design, implementation, and enhancement of investment and balance sheet products, including mutual funds, structured products, certificates of deposit (CDs), time deposits, money market solutions, lending programs, and customized client solutions.
  • Deep expertise in the end-to-end product lifecycle, including client experience, trading and execution workflows, custody, settlement, operational processes, restrictions, controls, and regulatory requirements, driving opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and client outcomes.
  • Drive cross-functional product initiatives and platform enhancements by translating business needs into stable solutions, defining target-state operating models, coordinating stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Operations, Technology, Risk, Treasury, and Front Office teams, and ensuring successful implementation and integration within the Bank.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with the legal, compliance, risk, operations, and finance teams to support product delivery.
  • Work with relationship managers and client advisors to gather feedback and refine our offerings.
  • Represent the investment product function in governance forums and strategic planning sessions.

Compliance, Documentation, and Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with BSNAML, AML, and Bank Secrecy Act regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support audits and compliance reviews.
  • Serve as the first line of defense in risk management, ensuring operational and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; an MBA or CFA is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a product development, strategic, or project management role.
  • A strong understanding of capital markets, investment vehicles, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Advanced interpersonal and influence management skills.
  • Superior analytical and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese is required; Spanish is preferred.

Compliance

Compliance with protocols, laws, rules, and regulations related to the Anti-Money Laundering Act and the Bank Secrecy Act, as well as Itaú's related policies and procedures
