Investment Risk Specialist

Job Description

The position of Investment Risk Specialist involves serving as a strategic partner who ensures the discipline necessary to support EFG’s growth. The role oversees the Group-wide investment risk and analysis agenda, transforms complex market data into actionable insights, and implements institutional-grade monitoring across the Advisory, New Capital, and Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) divisions.

Focus areas of work

The most important tasks include:

• Strategic Leadership and Framework Conditions: Defining and Owning Investment Risk and Analysis Frameworks for Advisory Services
• Translation of the global investment strategy into specific risk and analysis standards, methods, and processes
• Leading cross-functional initiatives and ensuring that risk-informed growth is consistently delivered across the franchise

Requirements

The requirements for this position include:

• Education: Master's degree in Banking and Finance
• Certification: CFA Level III
• Experience: At least 8–10 years of experience in the banking industry, with a proven track record of analytical and project-based results in investment areas
• Technical skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, Python, Bloomberg, and Power BI
