Investment Risk Specialist

Job Description

To serve as a strategic partner across all service lines, providing the discipline needed to achieve growth objectives. The role is responsible for the group-wide investment risk and analytics strategy, transforming complex market data into actionable insights and embedding institutional-grade oversight across Advisory, New Capital, and Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM).

Tasks

The most important tasks include:

• Strategic Leadership and Framework Conditions: Definition and Responsibility for the Investment Risk and Analysis Framework for Advisory Services
• Ownership of Portfolio Risk Measurement for Advisory: Overseeing product and portfolio risk measurement, including product risk classification and risk controls
• Risk-Based Culture and Franchise Leadership: Driving Cultural Change on the Front Lines by Positioning Risk Management as a Core Competency
• CIO Investment Framework: Contributing to the development of the bank’s long-term investment strategy by participating in the quantitative process and providing valuable input on asset allocation strategies
• Innovation and Automation: Actively Seeking New Ideas to Improve Transparency and Efficiency

Requirements

The requirements for this position include:

• Education: Master's degree in Banking and Finance
• Certification: CFA Level III, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and technical excellence
• Experience: At least 8–10 years of experience within the bank, with a proven track record of delivering analytical and project-based results in senior investment areas
• Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Excel, Python, Bloomberg, and Power BI, as well as experience with risk engines such as Aldante
• Expertise: In-depth knowledge of investment products, risk management strategies, and cross-asset correlations
