Job Profile Summary

The Investment Services team is responsible for writing and delivering high quality client communications to the firm's global client base. This role is at the center of Man Numeric's US equity product division. Numeric has a strong history in public equities, focusing on bottom-up systematic stock selection processes based on behavioral finance and market structure (through our internally developed, high-frequency trading strategies that we continuously improve). The Investment Services team performs a wide range of tasks, including handling client inquiries, writing marketing materials for funds, responding to DOD/RFPs, and preparing quarterly update materials. This role requires close collaboration with Man Numeric's investment and client management teams (senior sales personnel and other subject matter experts within Man Group globally). Therefore, this role offers the opportunity to play a key role in all aspects and stages of the client experience.

Tasks

  • Compose, develop and deliver the full range of Man Numeric focused material.
  • Support daily contact with internal and external customers, fulfill their requirements and coordinate internal support when needed.
  • Work closely with Sales, CPO, Portfolio Management and key stakeholders within the business to write tailored leadership content. Ensure the latest fund research, analysis and insights are communicated.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in Senior Sales/CPM.
  • Identify opportunities and initiate projects where the Investment Services team can add value to Man Numeric clients, the CPO team and the Man Group sales team.

Requirements

  • Degree level qualification in a relevant subject required.
  • 2-5 years of experience with recent writing experience in the hedge fund or asset management space.
  • Proven experience in writing, editing and delivering high quality investment content.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prioritize tasks based on a broad understanding of business needs.
  • Above average attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders within the organization and engage with these individuals.
  • Excellent time management skills to succeed in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented attitude with the ability to support colleagues and technologies such as a Bloomberg terminal.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
