Investment Services Associate
The Investment Services Associate supports the Investment Services team in the creation of client-facing communications materials for the Man Numeric product range and participates in various aspects of the client relationship. The role will involve writing marketing materials, responding to client queries and working with various teams within the business.
Job Profile Summary
The Investment Services team is responsible for writing and providing high-quality client communication to the firm's client base globally. This role will focus specifically on covering the Man Numeric product range. Man Numeric has a strong history in public equities, focusing on bottom-up systematic stock selection processes based on quantitative fundamental analysis and implemented via computer programs. The Investment Services team performs a wide range of duties, including drafting client queries, writing fund marketing materials leading to RFPs, responding to investor requests and providing marketing support. The Investment Services team supports Man Group's global investment business. As such, this role offers the opportunity to play a vital role in all aspects and stages of the client experience.
Responsibilities
- Write, draft, and edit the full range of Man Numeric-focused content
- Act as day-to-day contact with internal and external clients, facilitating their requirements and coordinating internal support where required
- Working closely with Sales, CPMS, Portfolio Management, and key stakeholders across the business to write bespoke RFP/QDCC content and to confirm the veracity of the latest fund research, analysis, and performance
- Verify information and identify projects where the Investment Services team can add value for Man Numeric, CPMS, and/or Man Group's clients
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior sales/ CPMS key stakeholders
Key Skills & Experience
- Digital level education in a relevant discipline required
- 2+ years' experience in writing/ content focused roles within the hedge fund or asset management industry
- Proven experience in writing, editing, and delivering high-quality investment content
- Familiarity with investment products, both sell-side and buy-side
- Superior attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize assignments based on a broad understanding of the business, requirements, and deadlines
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders across the firm and enhance engagement with these individuals
- Investment management skills acquired to date in a traditional and fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset to support your colleagues, as well as experience working independently
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
