The Investment Services Presentation Specialist supports Marketing and Client Services in creating materials, implementing marketing strategies and responding to client inquiries. Tasks:

  • Support the business by creating marketing and customer service materials
  • Execution of marketing strategies to support the company's products and brand
  • Working with customer service professionals to respond to sales and customer inquiries
  • Creating ideas by understanding the products and strategies offered by Man's core investment engines (SIC, FICC, GMS, Numeric and OPM)
  • Assisting in the preparation of marketing materials, including presentations, summaries, fact sheets and standard reporting
  • Assisting with marketing initiatives which may include events, webcasts, PR, sponsorship and advertising
  • Assistance in the development and implementation of marketing strategies
  • Assistance in the development and implementation of product launch and marketing strategies
  • Build solid internal relationships and partnerships with Man Group employees, including portfolio managers, sales and client relationship managers, marketing professionals and attorneys, and quantitative analysts
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and conduct quantitative analysis as required to produce materials
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other departments to solve customer and product marketing problems
  • Assistance in the development and implementation of team processes

Requirements:

  • Understanding of financial markets and performance statistics, understanding of the asset management industry and the hedge fund industry
  • Ability to quickly learn strategies, markets, statistics and legal and compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with the creation and design of financial presentations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand investment strategies and translate them into compelling marketing material
  • Ability to work with different people in the company to coordinate projects and reach agreements on layouts
  • Ability to represent Man to external and internal parties, including customers
  • Ability to prioritize project and task management and deadlines
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and ability to learn other proprietary or external software solutions if required
