Job description: Investment Services Presentation Specialist

Tasks

• Supporting the business through the creation of marketing and customer materials
• Execution of marketing strategies to support the company's products and brand image
• Collaborate with customer experts to respond to sales and customer inquiries
• Develop a deep understanding of the products and strategies offered by Man's core investment engines (AIFM, FRM, GLG, Numeric and GPI)
• Assisting in the preparation of marketing materials, including presentations, summaries, fact sheets and standard reporting
• Assisting with marketing initiatives which may include events, webcasts, PR, sponsorship and advertising
• Assistance in the development and implementation of marketing strategies
• Build solid internal relationships and partnerships with Man employees worldwide (including portfolio managers, sales representatives, marketing professionals, compliance and legal experts and operations team)
• Understanding where to find information within Man and performing quantitative analysis when required to create marketing materials
• Collaborate with colleagues in other departments to solve customer and product marketing problems
• Assistance in the development and implementation of team processes

Requirements

• Understanding of financial markets and performance statistics, understanding of the asset management industry and the hedge fund industry
• Ability to quickly learn strategies, markets, statistics and legal and compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with presentations and the use of new technology solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to understand investment strategies and translate them into competitive marketing materials
• Ability to work with different people in the organization to coordinate projects and reach agreements on issues
• Ability to represent Man to external parties, including customers
• Effective organization and time management skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel and ability to learn other proprietary or external software from Man
