Investment Services Presentation Specialist

The Investment Services Presentation Specialist will assist the company in creating marketing and customer service materials, executing marketing strategies and responding to customer inquiries. The focus is on the presentation of Man Group products and services.

Job description

Tasks

  • Supporting the business by creating marketing and customer service materials
  • Execution of marketing strategies to support the company's products and brand image
  • Collaborate with customer service experts to respond to sales and customer inquiries

Specific responsibilities

  • Thorough understanding of the products and strategies offered by Man's core investment engines (AIFs, EFM, GLG, Numeric and GPI)
  • Support in the creation of marketing materials, including presentations, summaries, fact sheets and standard reporting
  • Support with marketing initiatives which may include events, webcasts, PR, sponsorship and advertising
  • Support in the development and implementation of marketing strategies
  • Building solid internal relationships and partnerships with Man Global employees
  • Understanding where to find information within Man and performing quantitative analysis when required to create marketing materials
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other departments to solve customer and product marketing problems
  • Support in the development and implementation of team processes

Requirements

  • Understanding of financial markets and performance statistics, understanding of the asset management industry and the hedge fund industry
  • Ability to quickly learn strategies, markets, statistics and legal and compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint and the use of visual aids for customer presentations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand investment strategies and translate them into competitive marketing materials
  • Ability to work with different people in the organization to coordinate projects and reach agreements on issues
  • Ability to represent Man to external parties, including customers
  • Effective organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel and ability to learn other proprietary or external software used by Man
