The Investment Services Presentation Specialist supports the company in the creation of marketing and customer service materials and the implementation of marketing strategies. The focus is on communicating the company's products and brands to customers and prospects.
Job description: Investment Services Presentation Specialist
Tasks
- Supporting the business by creating marketing and customer service materials
- Execution of marketing strategies to support the company's products and brands
- Working with customer service professionals to respond to sales and customer inquiries
- Develop a deep understanding of the products and strategies of the core investment engines (AIFs, FRM, GLG, Numeric and GPI)
- Assisting in the preparation of marketing materials, including presentations, summaries and standard reporting
- Assisting with marketing initiatives, including events, webcasts, PIs, sponsorships and advertising
- Assistance in the development and implementation of marketing strategies
- Building solid internal relationships and partnerships with company employees (including portfolio managers, sales staff, marketing professionals, compliance and legal counsel, and operational staff)
- Understand where information can be found within the organization and perform quantitative analysis as needed to create marketing materials
- Collaborate with colleagues in other departments to solve customer and product marketing problems
- Assistance in the development and implementation of team processes
Requirements
- Understanding of financial markets and performance statistics, understanding of the asset management industry and the hedge fund industry
- Ability to quickly learn strategies, markets, statistics and legal and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with presentations and design using new social presentations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand investment strategies and translate them into compelling marketing materials
- Ability to work with different people in the organization to coordinate projects and reach agreements on issues
- Ability to represent the company to external parties, including customers
- Effective organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook and ability to learn other proprietary or external software used by the organization
