The Investor Reporting Professional (Maternity Cover - 12 months) is responsible for the coordination and monitoring of investor reporting processes and leads a team of 5 professionals. The position is based in Pfäffikon, Switzerland and requires at least 8 years of experience in the private equity industry.

Job description

The Private Markets Financial Operations team is looking for an experienced candidate to join our Investor Reporting team for 12 months, ideally starting mid-September 2025.

Tasks

  • Coordinate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including fund accounting, legal, compliance, tax, investment management and investor relations;
  • Consult with senior management on critical issues and present updates and insights on investor reporting processes and initiatives;
  • Lead and manage a team of 5 professionals, including performance management, mentoring and workload planning;
  • Represent the department in cross-functional strategic initiatives and projects and act as the voice of investor reporting;
  • Develop, implement and improve internal procedures and processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy and scalability;
  • Act as an escalation point for complex or sensitive issues within the team and from external stakeholders;
  • Oversee the review of regulatory reporting to ensure full compliance with relevant guidelines and deadlines;
  • Coordinate and perform quality reviews of deliverables prepared by other teams that relate to investor reporting spend;
  • Make operational decisions at team level, manage risk and ensure excellence in service delivery.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in the private equity industry, with strong exposure to investor reporting, fund operations or financial reporting;
  • Professional qualification in finance or accounting (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent) is strongly preferred;
  • Proven experience in leading and developing high performance teams;
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and industry reporting requirements in the private equity space;
  • Proven ability to lead process improvements and contribute to strategic planning;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders;
  • High level of attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
