Investor
The investor supports private banking clients and bankers with portfolio management, market analysis, and the implementation of complex investment strategies in Zurich (hybrid). The position requires at least five years of experience in the financial sector, as well as knowledge of stocks, bonds, derivatives, and alternative investments.
Tasks
- Focus on market trends/opportunities and client needs in private banking, including the identification of strategic and tactical opportunities across all asset classes, derivatives, and/or alternative investments.
- Development of client and/or market information based on the client's risk profile.
- Conducting portfolio reviews with clients and/or external representatives.
- Proactive participation in the process of generating investment ideas through collaboration with other members of the investment team.
- Developing, closing sales, and monitoring or finalizing complex investment products.
- Establish a close working relationship with internal clients (bankers).
- Compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, processes, and guidelines.
- Executing securities transactions and responding to inquiries from clients and/or their third-party managers or registered representatives in a timely manner.
- Monitoring and managing product distribution to internal customers through solution meetings and presentations.
- Work closely with Strategy, Products, Treasury, and the Trading Desk to develop solutions for clients.
- Compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and the Bank’s Code of Conduct, as well as AML policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- MBA or CFA (preferred).
- At least 5 years of professional experience in private banking or related financial markets.
- Internal candidates: Consistent performance in their current role (Upper L or Expected Performance + at least twice in the last 3 cycles).
- Experience and knowledge of markets and investment products in stocks, bonds, foreign exchange, derivatives, and alternative investments.
- Sales experience, including negotiation skills, a team-selling approach, closing sales, and overcoming objections.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment.

- Application of AI solutions for portfolio analysis and investment research.
- Creating client dashboards that support investment recommendations and portfolio monitoring.
- Creating wizards and agents to automate tasks, optimize processes, and improve workflow efficiency.
- Redesigning and restructuring workflows through AI-powered solutions to support scalable and sustainable growth.
