IPB Deposit and Custody Analyst

As a Deposit and Custody Analyst at JPMorgan Chase, you will support advisors and clients in providing deposit and custody solutions to achieve client objectives. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the platform in Geneva and will work with various teams and external providers.

Job Summary

As a Deposit and Custody Analyst in Private Bank Deposits and Custody, you support advisors and clients by delivering dependable deposit and custody solutions that help clients meet their goals. You will run day-to-day activities for our Geneva platform, keep transactions accurate and controlled, and partner across product, operations, and external providers. We work with care, pace, and integrity, and we value inclusive, transparent collaboration. Together, we turn strong execution into better client outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support advisors with deposit and custody solutions for clients and prospects
  • Build and maintain client-ready pitchbooks and briefing materials
  • Collaborate with product teams to test features and confirm readiness for rollout
  • Monitor and approve deposit trades in the execution management system
  • Liaise with external providers to coordinate fiduciary trade execution
  • Review and approve breakages and fiduciary fee exceptions
  • Review and approve custody fee exception requests with proper controls
  • Execute daily rate uploads and implement timely rate changes
  • Perform controls and audit testing across the Swiss platform
  • Monitor findings closely and maintain clear documentation standards
  • Investigate and resolve errors, escalating issues when necessary
  • Contribute to ad hoc initiatives

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Preferably 1-3 years' experience in private banking with exposure to deposits or custody
  • Working knowledge of financial markets and interest rate drivers
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to produce client-ready materials
  • Fluency in English with clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to collaborate across advisors, product, operations, and external providers
  • Problem-solving mindset with accountability for outcomes
  • Commitment to an inclusive culture and respect for diverse perspectives

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Proficiency with Tableau, Python, or Alteryx for reporting and analytics
  • Strong presentation skills for advisor briefings and client meetings
  • Experience contributing to cross-functional projects and process improvements
