IT and Operations Specialist
The IT and Ops Specialist plays a leadership role in the development of investment and operational platforms within Itaú U.S.A. Asset Management and works closely with business leaders, technology teams, and external vendors to develop scalable and integrated solutions. The position requires experience in project management, vendor management, and software development, as well as strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

The IT and Ops Specialist plays a critical leadership role in the further development of investment and operational platforms. This role works closely with business leaders in Brazil, technology teams, and external vendors to deliver scalable, integrated, and highly effective solutions that align with global and regional strategies.key tasks
- Strategic owner responsible for the evolution of platforms, including defining technology roadmaps, selecting suppliers, and prioritizing investments.
- Overseeing the implementation of projects from start to finish, including governance, risk management, and executive-level reporting.
- Leading cross-functional project teams in the delivery of improvements to core operational and capital platforms.
- Managing alignment and integration among systems, processes, and strategies in global and local operations.
- Collaborate with business partners (portfolio managers, traders, and executives) to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Mapping, analyzing, and optimizing existing operational processes to achieve scalability through automation and the implementation of software-based solutions.
- Contributed to the design and development of software solutions to support asset management systems, with a strong focus on electronic trading and OMS integration (Charles River).
- Promoting continuous process improvement initiatives, with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- A degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management and supplier management in complex, regulated environments.
- Experience with software development, automation, and the implementation of AI-driven solutions.
- Strong understanding of performance management frameworks (OKRs, KPIs).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across business and technology teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives in fast-paced, parallel environments.
- Solid technical background in .NET (C#), SQL Server, and the architecture of complex, enterprise-wide systems.
- Previous experience in capital markets or asset management is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is required for collaboration with international teams and external suppliers.
