The IT and Ops Specialist plays a critical leadership role in the ongoing development of investment and operational platforms. This role works closely with business leaders, technology teams, and external vendors to deliver scalable, integrated, and highly effective solutions that align with global and regional strategies.Tasks
The most important tasks include:- Strategic responsibility for the further development of platforms, including defining technology roadmaps, selecting suppliers, and prioritizing investments.
- Overseeing the implementation of projects, including governance, risk management, and executive-level reporting.
- Leading cross-functional project teams in implementing improvements to core operational and capital investment platforms.
- Promoting alignment and integration among systems, processes, and strategies in global and local operations.
- Collaborating with business partners to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Design, analysis, and optimization of existing operational processes to achieve scalability through automation and the implementation of software solutions.
- Contributed to the design and development of software solutions for asset management systems, with a focus on electronic trading and OMS integration (Charles River).
- Promoting continuous process improvement initiatives, with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and operational excellence.
Requirements
The requirements for this position include:- A degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management and supplier management in complex, regulated environments.
- Experience with software development, automation, and the implementation of AI-driven solutions.
- Strong understanding of performance management frameworks (OKRs, KPIs).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across business and technology teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives in fast-paced, parallel environments.
- Solid technical foundation in .NET (C#), SQL Server, and the architecture of complex, enterprise-wide systems.
- Previous experience in capital markets or asset management is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is required for working with international teams and external suppliers.
